That's the magic hour....

Hello lovelies, I hope you have all had a good weekend! I am in Anglesey for a week as of today, it is not a holiday as such because whilst my friends are away in Venice, I am looking after their house and pet cats for them, but of course it is a holiday really because I get to stay at their peaceful home in beautiful Anglesey. Whilst they are enjoying Gelato and Gondola rides, I will be going for walks on Llanddwyn beach.
This outfit was what I had on to travel to Wales. I added this felt hat because it was a sunny day and I thought it added another dimension to a plain outfit. I bought the hat ages ago in Winter from Primark. it was from their 'Limited Edition' range and to be honest I had almost forgotten all about it until I found it again the other day! It is a nice hat to shield you from the spring sunshine and it is soft and comfortable!

Easter weekend.

Sorry that this post is so belated, but I have had a hectic week so I am just getting around to this now! I hope that you all had a lovely Easter and managed to eat far too much chocolate like I did!
I got this selection of Soap and Glory products for Easter, so I thought I would give you a quick overview of them here.

Soap and Glory Smoothie Star Body Milk.
I love this body lotion, it smells like a delicious mix of oats and honey and it leaves your skin so soft.
Soap and Glory Heel Genius.
This foot balm is amazing for spring and summer as it leaves your feet super soft as well as feeling cool.
Soap and Glory Pulp Friction.
I love this body scrub, it has a lovely fruity fragrance and the grains are quite coarse but not too rough so it leaves your skin very soft.
Soap and Glory Glad Hair Days Shampoo.
I love the fragrance of this; it lathers up well and leaves your hair soft.

After using the Soap and Glory shampoo, my hair was sleek and shiny. I used the matching conditioner too, they both have a really nice fragrance.

What Soap and Glory products do you all like? I am addicted to the range although it can be a little expensive, but look out for the 3 for 2 offer in Boots as this is often available!

The flowerbeds are coming to life!

I like this old planter, it has a really quaint feel to it!

Yummy salad!
These Cadburys chocolate eggs are so lovely!

I spent the Easter weekend packing in as much as possible. It is so nice to have four days free, so I went to Anglesey for the day on Good Friday, then divided the rest of the long weekend between my home and my family home. Everybody was happy!

A couple of Gin and Tonics in the sunshine!

We went for a curry at our local pub, it was delicious!

A refreshing smoothie on the road!

 Blogging in the garden!

I love to see the Cherry Blossom trees in bloom!

Llanddwyn beach, Anglesey, Wales. It was a lovely, sunny day.

I would love to hear about what you have all been doing lately! I read and appreciate every single comment and I follow back my followers!
Until next time :)

Feet on the ground, head in the clouds...

A quick stop in Starbucks (of course!) to write this post.
I know I mention this all the time, but Collection Lipstick in shade 6 Bubblegum is the perfect pastel pink for spring!

This outfit brings me to the merits of a simple blazer as part of every girls wardrobe. I bought this berry/maroon coloured one from Primark a while ago, and I love the way it pulls an outfit together and makes everything look more chic. I think a good blazer can be the basis for so many outfits. Throw a t-shirt and jeans on with one or layer over a dress as I have here and it just looks stylish yet simple. On the high street, Zara, Primark and River Island are good places to buy a blazer from.

That's amore...!

I thought I would post a quick pizza recipe, because I have not posted any recipes for a while, and who can resist a delicious pizza fresh out of the oven?!
First here is a quick recipe for the dough!

Quick no-yeast pizza dough:
Ingredients
(Serves 4)
  • 225g self-raising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 60g margarine/softened butter
  • 150ml milk
  • pizza toppings of your choice
    Method:
  • Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Rub the butter into the flour and salt until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Pour the milk into the bowl gradually and mix to a soft dough.
  • Knead the dough and roll out into a large circle about 1cm thick. Place on oiled baking tray then top with pizza sauce and toppings of your choice.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until the crust is golden, about 20 minutes.

Ideas for toppings, pizza sauce with any of the following:
Mozzarella and cooked chicken, with mixed herbs.
Mozzarella, grated cheddar and tuna.
Mozzarella, grated cheddar and salami/prosciutto.
Mozzarella, red onion and olives.
Or anything that you prefer on a pizza!

Pizza sauce:
One carton tomato passata.
One tablespoon tomato purée.
Generous pinch of dried mixed herbs.
Swirl the sauce onto the pizza bases before adding the other toppings.

If you are using a ready-bought base, just add your own toppings and follow the instruction on the packaging in regard to cooking times.

Above: The finished result, tuna and mozzarella pizza on the left, mozzarella and chicken pizza on the right.
A glass of wine complimented the pizza perfectly!
A slice of the tuna pizza.
I like to serve pizza on these wooden boards from Ikea, I just think they look nicer served that way!

I cheated and used Tesco ready made stuffed-crust pizza bases! These are a nice quick-fix for a lazy night and all you need to do is put the pizza sauce, any other toppings you want and the cheese on top and then pop them into the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling.

If you are feeling more energetic, try the simple yeast-free pizza dough recipe above. No rising time is involved, so it is very straight-forward.

When the pizzas were cooked I topped them with some washed baby spinach leaves.  This made the pizzas look nicer and also made them a touch healthier!

I hope you enjoy this recipe and do tell me what you all like to eat? I love to read your comments and I follow back my followers!

I brought you all my dreams...

Just a lazy, summery outfit!
I love anything with tassels or fringing!

The Forever 21 bag is something I use every day lately!

 Some of my current favourites:
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.
Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo.
Soap and Glory Glad Hair Day Conditioner.
Paperchase floral notebook.
Nivea Soft moisturiser.
Imperial Leather Blissful Amber Shower Gel.
It is nice to have a glass of wine in the garden in the warmer weather (only for those old enough to drink!)

Hi everybody, I hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend so far! I have been in Anglesey, Wales for a break. It is lovely and tranquil there and there are some amazing beaches, I would recommend it to anybody who is close enough to visit. We always go to Llanddwyn beach in Newborough. There is a beautiful forest with so many trails to walk as well as the stunning beach.
This outfit was from yesterday, I just wanted to wear something I would be comfortable in for sitting in the car for two hours. Yet again, I reached for my favourite black maxi dress from New Look, my Forever 21 handbag and my fringed cardigan from Primark. It was such a lovely warm day, so I was able to wear sandals. This gold rope pair were another bargain from Primark (where else?!). We had a long walk and a picnic on the beach, and then a campfire and stargazing late into the night. I only wish every day could be so perfect. What have you all been up to? Do let me know because I love to read all of your comments and I follow back my followers! You are all so incredibly kind and supportive! Kisses from Camille :)

Drive my heart into the night...

Time to buy a new one!

I love the glow Topshop cream blush gives your skin!

A fairly simple outfit of the day today, I just wanted to look chic without having to make too much of an effort! This is the navy version of the shirt/blouse from Primark which I have in every colour. I just love how flattering these are and they look much more expensive than they are. Actually, this outfit is all Primark apart from the bag! It is just such a good store, and they have nice clothes which don't cost a fortune.

I also have to add a little footnote about my favourite blusher at the moment. The Topshop cream blush in Neon Rose. I need to buy a new one because I've used this so much, and I just love the natural glow it gives to your skin. It makes you look healthy and glowing even on days when you don't feel it!
I hope you are all having a great week! Please comment as I love reading your comments and I follow back my followers! Thank you sweeties! xo

Just for tonight darling, lets get lost...

Faux-leather jacket- Primark

I probably wear too much black but I just find that is always looks classic and chic as well as being figure-flattering. This maxi dress from New Look is a wardrobe staple of mine and it is ideal for the slightly warmer weather we have been having in the UK lately. The only downside to this dress is that it can look slightly transparent but I can just about get away with it! It can still feel chilly later in the day here, so I have my trusty faux-leather jacket from Primark with me at all times. This was a simple outfit I wore on Monday for some work stuff followed by a trip to Nandos! I had not been there for a while and it was fun to go again and have their delicious food! I also went to see a film, Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson. It was a really good thriller set on an aeroplane and I would definitely recommend it!
